I’ve been fixing my house on Downing Street (no comments please for overpaying, etc.) for about 4 months now and I’ve used a bunch of people off this board– and I just wanted to give a shout out to Windows We Are, in Bay Ridge. <\/p>\n
Scott really was a trooper, guiding me through the landmark wood window options (I eventually used Colby in the front & Trimline in the back), he completely dealt with Landmarks, and the best part was he gave me an awesome deal– much better than the two other companies from which we got estimates.
\nTheir installation guys were awesome, and they put up with all my requests for green products including denim insulation and no voc caulk. <\/p>
I’m not yet living in my part of the house, (still doing painting) but yesterday I rented my garden apartment and I found myself showing off the wood windows… and while I never considered Downing a noisy block (besides recess time, of course), when we closed the windows there was this erie silence.
