I can understand commercial areas such as 5th avenue that might need more attention.  But most residential blocks DO NOT need to be cleaned 4x a week.  Its great that some parts in Bay Ridge is 1x a week and we know the Park Slope situation.  I called Felix Ortiz about this and he said it has been in discussion for a long time.  I read in the paper about the Dept of Sanitation&#8217;s union not wanting to cut shifts.  Why dont we have them clean parts of the city that needs cleaning?
