Dear Greenwood Heights\/South Slope residents:<\/p>\n
Some of your neighbors are working to establish an official dog run in the area alongside the Prospect Expressway between 6th and 7th Avenues. A couple of areas there have been used as dog runs for years, but recently enforcement agents have been ticketing dog owners who use these areas. That’s a $100 fine. <\/p>\n
We are working with CB7 and Parks Department representatives to make this happen. An official dog run these days needs to have both water and fencing. We have identified two areas that have fencing but no water, and two areas with water but no fencing.
