I imagine this would involve some masonry work, and maybe also some metalworking (to build a little peaked roof to keep the rain out).<\/p>\n<p>A related question: we considered installing the mailbox in the house, between the inner and outer entry doors on the parlor level, but our mail carrier said the mailbox had to be outside.  Is there any truth to this?
