Our loft only squeaks and creaks horribly in certain spots (of course right outside of sleeping children&#8217;s rooms is one of worst offending areas!) but it is a real pain.  We&#8217;ve heard that the way to fix is by locating the boards below &#8211; crawl space &#8211; which we do not have.<br \/>\nAnd does talcum powder actually work?
