It is on wheels and I will have it built into new cabinets.It was built into a closet that was not original to the house.It is a cool looking old safe, but the finish needs cleaning. I tried googling &#8220;cleaning antique metal safe&#8221; and similar, but no luck. It doesn&#8217;t seem painted, but surface is sort of pitted. I don&#8217;t know what category to put this in, on forum, sorry.
