At present there is a horrifying 70&#8217;s Las Vegas-style light fixture.  I&#8217;ve seen some nice ceiling medallions online &#8211; both those made of plaster, as well as some made of other materials (man-made?)<\/p>\n<p>A few questions:  Am I better off with the plaster vs. the man-made?<\/p>\n<p>Who would be the person to install a medallion? Contractor? Plaster specialist?  Painter ?
