I&#8217;ve received varying recommendations (e.g. Baldwin etc.), but can&#8217;t seem to find a locksmith in the area (Bed Stuy) who can give me sound advice and who is experienced in installing these.<\/p>\n<p>Any recommendations for types of mortise locks(including brand), best set-up, where to purchase and an experienced and trustworthy locksmith.<\/p>\n<p>Also, is the mortise lock a good choice?
