The rear room is basically closed off by pocket doors and I&#8217;m keeping it as a different design.  The problem is the width of the front room is 1.5 ft wider than the middle room and the difference is on one side not balanced (the hallway side).  The middle room has a little closet in that space. We want to treat both rooms as one space but if we try to line up the recessed lights it will look strange.  We could place all the lights the same distance from the wall but I&#8217;m not sure how that would look.
