My painter told me to get oil paint but if the EPA is banning it I do not really want to use it. I am not interested in the look of oil paint anyway but I am wondering how best to finish the pipe (isn&#8217;t it weird that we paint these pipes in the first place??). The pipe is covered in a couple coats of flat paint now. Is there a school of thought on paint and heating pipes?
