Victorian Cooling
I have an old Victorian with room air conditioners. Is an attic fan and/or whole house fan a good idea? Why would you get both (with the whole has fan venting to the attic) rather then have the whole house fan vent directly to the outside?

I have used the Airscape 4.0 with good results in a previous project.

They are great, especially in the swing seasons.
Hope this helps,

I have a whole-house fan that blows air up into the attic. It was a nice cooling effect the few times I used it. In the winter it lets a draft of cold air in so I crawled up in the attic and covered the fan with insulation to try to slow down the heat loss. Haven’t bothered going back up summers to take it off to use the fan again.
