Hi Brownstoners, I have a pair of heavy duty pull down closet rods for creating two levels in your closet. The handle pulls down the rod to make your clothes more accessible and a light push will send the bar back up to the top of your closet. New they run for $130 each. I am offering them for $75 for the pair. All mounting screws included. I am located in Gowanus on Bond between Douglass and Degraw. Thanks!

  4. Unsure about the sizes – I would imagine their website would be helpful in this area. They were installed in the closet when we bought the place and so have no other information. I didn’t need the pull down feature so when we had our closet doors redone, I had the contractor remove them and install plain rods. If you are interested let me know when you could stop by to pick them up.

  5. I’m interested in these and could pick up this week. (Does hafele only make these in one size, albeit extendable, or are there varying sizes?)

  7. The Manufacturer is Hafele. Top of the line European manufacturer. The system as it is measures 23 inches across. The specs on line say it can be extended but I have not tried to do that. The handle is 34 inches long as is the unit itself. I will send you the pix in a moment. Thanks for your interest.
