  1. and iam sorru the fixtures have to be re-plated as well. Retro has to be pristine to work and when it is it is wonderful! This stuff you cant even see the bottom of the tub….the toilet appears to be 2 different tones the back pink and the bowl a washed out pink if you want to be generous…. If you want to sell something make a commitment and show it off in the best light

  2. Traditionalmod wait a second as a designer that uses mid century and contrasting period please do not say i aint hip the difference between the nytimes and this stuff is condition and quality. Look you can say I have a lovely silk weeding dress but if the silk is destroyed by moths and stains it will not fly down any runway. Their specimines are not in good condition and if its dirt then HONEY wash them things and present them well other wise you have a moth eaten dress

  3. All you posting are so out of it and un-hip. New York Times had a piece recently on the trendiness of pink bathrooms and how people are preserving these bathrooms not destroying them. I think it’s awesome. I had a lavender and black 1920s bathroom in CA and not a soul who walked in my house didn’t absolutely flip over it. OP, maybe you should share your Craigs List items for sale with the “save the pink bathrooms” blog.

  4. Different strokes… one’s junk is another’s treasure as we’ve proved on this site countless times! 🙂

And for anyone looking who appreciates these pink vintage beauties, they are in great condition but they have dirt on them from sitting outside – there are no cracks, dings, etc. If interested let me know and we’ll clean them up for you to come see.

Hoping they go to the right home! (info145halsey at yahoo dot com)
