Pruning in Abandoned Backyard
The property next door to me has been abandoned and their former garden is overgrown and taking away the sun in my backyard. Does anyone know if i can hire someone to prune plants by hopping over the fence?

KiKi17, I had a similiar situation and what we did was call 311 to report problem of excessive rubbish and overgrown landscaping that “appears to be creating bugs and rodent problems that are impacting my backyard and home”. The owner of the abandoned property was fined and the city brought in folks remove the 10 feet high weeds that was covering the entire 40×20 backyard and creeping into my space.
Just a suggestion…. call 311. Multiple times if you have to get some traction.

read up on squatting. take over the back yard and make it yours. at least for this summer 😉
Technically you can only trim what hangs over your property but I’d risk doing it.
