Hi, we are preparing to move in and need to remove all the appliances so that we can start cleaning and preparing for reno / demo. Can anyone suggest on a service crew, and general estimate for the job?
JOB:
Remove:
– garden floor : fridge, washer / dryer, stove
– 3nd floor: fridge, stove
– 4rd floor: fridge, stove
Clean-up service
– 1 floor total clean-up.
– 3 floors clean and sweep.
I’ve heard so far quotes around 500+tax for the appliance removal.
thanks!!
Thank you for all suggestions. We’ve been recommended to wait until we move into demo so that things can be consolidated. Will keep you updated
we got our old washing machine removed by listing it on craigslist (it worked). we were asking $20 but the guy who took it insisted on giving us $40.

I had a very positive experience with a company called junkluggers. They were very nice & hardworking. They came & looked and gave a price. They charge by the truck load, and donate stuff.
call miguel 347-422-1093 he collects scrap metal and will take them for free
A few weeks ago the Greene Hill Food Co op was asking if anyone had a refrigerator to donate. I agree with above poster, you can likely get someone to take your appliances for free if they can have them and they are working. Try posting them on craigslist for free.
For cleaning when I moved into my home we had cleaning done by Good Impressions and they were reasonably priced and thorough, altho they turned up late, so make sure you’re not in a rush!

GREAT suggestion! We will look into that. thanks so much.
Donate the appliances to Build It Green or call a used appliance store and tell them they can have them. There are tons on Broadway.
