How much does a contractor and/or architect charge to go look at houses?

We’ve just begun home search and are already finding that most places we’ve seen will need A LOT of work. We don’t know how seriously to think about the places we’ve seen until we have some sense of how much the major renovations will cost. How much do contractors or architects charge to come in and give this kind of estimate? And what if we need this done for more than one property? What’s the process for this? Thanks so much in advance for any information/advice.
I would be happy to do a walk through at no charge if you are seriously considering a property purchase.
It can’t hurt to get a few opinions about possible scope and costs for any significant renovation work, as approaches and sensibilities will vary.

We too will meet with homebuyers and walkthrough a home that they are seriously considering purchasing. The first home visit is free and we charge a small fee for subsequent visits.

I often meet a person at a house pre-purchase, for free if that person is strongly interested in the house, and is planning on making an offer. I’ll give a basic verbal impression of the house and discuss design options.
If the buyer wants a written estimate, then I’ll charge a small fee for that, as it represents a significant amount of time outside of the site visit.
