Any chimney company’s selling stuff door to door or from calling you is a scheme. The other way you can point them out is a cleaning always under $200 then they come in and break a piece of clay pipe off your chimney and con you into a liner and alot of them are giving out fake dvd’s when they come in to scan your chimney flue.
They often call homeowners who purchased their house within the past year and say they’d worked on the chimney for the previous owner (which doesn’t explain how they got your number).
