I forgot to mention that their apt includes a washing machine / dryer in unit and a dishwasher.
We have friends on our block (center slope) who are renters. They rent almost the identical apt. and they are paying $2850
I rent two of these apartments (top two floors of brownstone) on 10th between 8th and ppw – I get 2100 each for them.
1900-2200
I rent out a similar place but probably larger & w/ a few bells & whistles – washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. for $2700.

that’s a coincidence–i rented what sounds like that very apartment (10th st, b/w 6th and 7th, atop an owner’s duplex, 1 real br plus 1 super-skinny br) from 2004-2007. i think we started at 1750 and were paying 1850 when we left. hope this helps…
