vintage doors
Just purchased a little townhouse in Carroll Gardens, and want to put a pair of doors in the currently-empty thresh-hold between the two bedrooms. Can anyone recommend a supplier of vintage/antique doors with some character?

Recycling the Past in Barnegat NJ has quite a few doors, I have purchased there frequently.
They have a web site, and it lists prices, but I can tell you that if you just show up without calling and negotiating, I pay far less than the web site asks. Plus they have lots that aren’t on the web site.
Eddie on Greene and Grand.
Vaccaro’s near Gowanus Lowes.
If all else fails, worth the trip up to Zaborski’s in Kingston.
Many places on the internet that seem to have much better supply than what the local salvage guys have.
I got mine here:

He strips and does a rough sanding on every door and will fill the holes too if you want
