take a one hour drive to connecticut passport office and they will process it same day. A friend of mine went that route a few years back
use CIBT. Google them. Call and tell them what you need and they’ll take care of it.
First step is call passport office for a schadule if they can give schadule within your time there is a a same day service but you have to show them your air tickets.you will need a day to handle the process yourself.agences may charge you about $500for emergency process.
Good Luck.
You can go in person to a passport office to stand in line and spend hours to get it right away or go to an expeditor to do it for you. Three weeks is plenty of time. You can get a passport in one or two days.
if you have a plane ticket you go to passport office in lower manhattan
I say go to the passport agency on Varick Street in Manhattan. Call them first to see what the stipulations are for going there versus sending it in. We were booked to go to Paris last year and I realized two days before that my pp would expire in the middle of our trip. I only paid $60 extra for the rush and had it back by the end of the day. I called some of the passport rush agencies and they wanted $500 for the service alone, not including the cost to actually renew my passport.
Visit the passport website to get all the details. If you have ticket – proof of imminent departure – then there is an option to schedule an appointment at the central passport office.
Other than that DIBS is right you can do expediting through the State Depart for an extra fee that you can pay at the passport site – most are located in Post Offices and you have to just go wait in line during the posted hours – be read to wait. A friend recently renewed hers and suggested the Cadman Plaza post office has the quickest lines (at least compared to Atlantic Avenue).
Or, go with the private expeditors may be a little more expensive but fast. You can usually get it back in about a week or so.
Pay for one of the expeditor services. They get them done in a few days. Can’t remember who I used in manhattan or what it cost. If you mail it in it”ll take longer than 3 weeks; although I think there is also a fee you can pay for the State Dept to expedite it too.
