Expeditor Cost?
Does anyone have a ballpark estimate of what an expeditor should cost for an Alt 2 filing? We are doing a small renovation, converting a current storage room into a second bathroom. We already have our drawing set / plans ready. Any thoughts and advice are appreciated.

If the expeditor handles it from beinning to end (which should not be the case and is not legal as well) then the expensive approach. If being handled by architect then the other way around.
Why the vast differences in prices?
If the plans you have are signed and sealed by a licensed Architect who advised you on the feasiblity of the project then I ditto Jock’s figure. This doesn’t include the fees that the DOB charges for filing.

depending on scope alt 2 is about $2500
My guys are about the same as Jock’s, though they’ll add doing the asbestos testing themselves (usually about $350 – $500 depending upon how many samples) and charge about $2k.
We recently used an expediter, and it was in the $6k range.
If you ask my expediter, $6,000 plus expenses.
Start to finish $1,550.
