For a Brownstone buiding with 4-5 condo apartments, how does a super work? Is it a super that is on call for multiple buildings?

  2. I think there are management companies who handle this, yes presumably they have a few guys and a bunch of buildings to make it efficient. I’ve seen postings on this forum with a few names.

  3. It is whatever you want to arrange. Many have none, and do the work themselves. My 4-unit coop hired someone’s cleaning person to clean our common areas weekly, so we didn’t have to take turns doing it anymore. All the rest we did ourselves.

    There are people who provide services for small buildings – some bag and put out the garbage on garbage nights; some shovel snow; I imagine they also will clean the front yard area, rake leaves, etc. There may be other handymen type a building can call on for repairs as necessary.

    Just ask someone in the building what they do.
