I was informed that in order for our project to start, we need to do something called TR-2 / TR-3 test since we are going to be inserting a new concrete slab into the ground to support a new balcony/roof.
Can someone please recommend a facility that does this type of testing? I am in Brooklyn.
If your cocncrete is non-structural and less then 5o cubic yard you will be able to get it waived.

I just saw your final post on the previous thread of this name. Sorry I didn’t see it earlier. You say you were “told that NY City is now mandating that it be done for any project as of 2010.” Who told you this? I’ve filed at least three projects this year that waived this requirement because of the quantity of the concrete.
