I am trying to figure out if a building I am interested in has any fines, complaints, liens, arrears or violations — basically anything I can inherit. Get a search done by a title company of you want to be 100% sure
Go to http://www.nyc.gov, search for DOB BIS. Input the address and see what is listed for the property.
