Boiler Install
Howdy. Fixing up a Williamsburg property that never had a heating system! We’ve already selected our boiler/radiator system and have a deposit down. Any recommendations for a crew that can install it? If you are a plumber that wants to bid on the install, let me know. We’d prefer to install this with permits -…

We’d prefer to install this with permits – any idea how long that takes the DoB to sign off on?
there will be no delay in the process, it is not like filing an alt 1 where everything is open to interpretation of a plan examiner…this is plain vanilla stuff…btw what is the boiler and radiation, since this is my field.. you can contact me at errol832000@yahoo.com
Eman1234, thanks for replying to this threat, but I do think you need to read things a little more carefully, and keep in mind most of what I post here reflects only aspects of the project, and not its whole. So yeah, some jobs I want the cheapest possible guys. Others sections of the job will be done differently. I want this thing done with a permit but fear another six month wait at the DoB.
my point was that this job cannot be done on the cheap since it will need an upgrade in the gas service and meter bar…all of the posts by this guy have started out with “we cant afford contractors…”
eman, he said he would do it WITH a permit…
i saw that you filed an alt 1…no way you can get over without filing.. you will be busted big time on inspection
you would be a horses ass to do this without a permit.. you are going to need to upgrade your meter bar (which probably does not exist at this point)and probably increase the size of your gas service..if you try to cheap out on this it will cost you a minimum of $1500 in fines …you cannot just add a major gas appliance without a load calculation run through national grid
I would call Mike Mancini gas approved company. A great company that did a lot of plumbing work for me. Reliable, has been in the business for a long time, quality work and his price is unbeatable.
