This antique wrought iron fire place was discovered in a basement of a home hidden years ago after a renovation.Many people tore these kind of things out of their house to modernize from the fifties to the present.This is time period accurate for those who want to restore their brownstone to its original grandeur or those who want to have a fireplace with the elegance and charm of an era gone by. This piece measures 34 wide by 35 high It is cast iron and does need to be finished, ( paint or powdercoat) but is in remarkably good condition for its age ( about 120 years old) I’ve seen them finished in black with gold accents and they look beautiful.This cover is being offered for the low price of $250.00 and is not being shipped, pick up only from Park Slope Brooklyn
