Ditto on what Bond said. The dumpster costs a few hundred and if you fill more than halfway with concrete they charge you extra for being over weight.
The removal and debris hauling doesn’t sound high to me. Think of it this way, how much would a small dumpster be? 300?(I’m guessing, I’ve never rented smaller than a ten yarder) How long would it take you to hammer up the sidewalk? Half a day of really hard work?. Could you find someone who might do it for a little less? Maybe, but how much time and effort are you willing to put in to save a $100.
As far as the wall, too many unknown factors. Are they putting in a footing, or is one already in place? What are they capping it with? Will you be bringing the brick to them, or just paying for it and they pick it up? Regular mortar, or colored? Off hand, without knowing all of the above, I’d say it’s the same as the debris removal, not super cheap, but not terribly expensive either. Brick work is one of those things where you often get what you pay for. While a good mason should be able to lay that wall in a day, you’re really paying for years of experience, so while it may not take the mason a long time, you can’t really use that as a yardstick for cost. The biggest deciding factor for me would be examples of work, if it’s good, I’d go with the $700.
