Dead Squirrels
In the past week a bunch of dead squirrels have been turning up in the south Slope area, around 12th Street and 8th Avenue. Anyone else notice this, or heard anything about what may be causing it?

What myplace said — there have been rat problems around the park, and maybe they are eating the poison meant for the rats…
We have had a slew of dead mice on the sidewalk on our block but it might be because they are eating the poison from the rat bait stations. Meanwhile, many fewer rat sightings.
Feral cats killed a couple of squirrels in my S. Slope backyard. That’s my guess.
