I too have a bunch – not decorative though… spk to a fellow poster just now who was interested in buying a few – he told me scrappers wont give you anything for them – Does anyone know if this is true?
In the past have brought materials to scrappers and made out well!

It’s true that the ones with scrollwork are worth more, if you can find someone who happens to be looking for them.
Kevin and Richard Plumbing on Myrtle. These look like they might be decorative and are not a dime a dozen (at least when I was looking for them). It’s not so easy to find decorative radiators free of rust and in good working order.
Did you try the place on Myrtle near Kent? It’s a store front. They probably won’t give you much, but that’s the go-to place for antique radiators. (sez me)
And if you call in the scrapper, he will likely charge YOU if they are not already out on the curb. those puppies are heavy(as you know).
Yes, but they’re just too common and cumbersome to be valuable.
Good to know. I do feel bad sending them to be ruined though. Doesn’t anyone renovate and install these neat old pieces anymore?!
