Reinforcement of Main Beam

The main beam in my 2 story, detached brick house needs to be reinforced. It seems it was done by the previous homeowner, as the pillars are unevenly spaced and not thick enough. Can anyone recommend a contractor or PE for just this job? I don’t intend to use a GC for general rehab, but the inspector suggested having this taken care of first so that any movement created would not disturb new plaster, window seals, etc.
