Question for Donatella
Following up on your post about your stoop repair. Using dibs guy, may I ask what you were quoted for the job? Also, did you go the route of re-brownstoning or repair and paint? We are in the same boat and saw someone on our block having their stoop re-brownstoned. The work was beautiful but…

We are in the same boat and saw someone on our block having their stoop re-brownstoned. The work was beautiful but they quoted us 6k which I thought was really high. Unlike you, we have a regular stoop, no landing between two sets of stairs.
Thank you.
I am sorry that I did not see your question.
Here is the link to my pictures. The contractor is Millad (718-669-8305), who redid my stoop. I made a photo album of the work, so if you are interested, please take a look.

Also beware of Valaroso. Neighbors gave sizable deposit – waited two years, work was never done, and now can’t get their deposit back. Friends on President had work done on stoop – and it looked awful one year later.
I know I’m not Donatella, but we used Z. Abedin and paid $10,700. It looks great but in the end, we were less than impressed with his work ethic. The usual stuff…taking on too many clients at once, leaving us hanging, not working neat enough. Would I use him again? Yeah, probably. He does good work.

Don’t know about Donatella’s guys, but whatever you do, don’t hire Metro. My experience with them has been terrible. Hasan is rude, and does not stand behind his work.
