Homeowner's insurance for coop apt during renovation
We are about to begin work on a coop apartment (gutting a kitchen, bathroom) and are looking for homeowner’s insurance to cover the renovation and beyond. We won’t be moving in until after the work is complete. Does anyone have an idea about how much we should expect to pay? Recommendations would be much appreciated.

Good luck with the renovation. I actually specialize in kitchen appliances. I do all size jobs. My prices tend to be the cheapest out there and my personal service is unparalleled to that of a retail store. Please contact me when you are ready to tackle the kitchen. I have many referrals available. I sell all name brand appliances at wholesale prices.

Regular co-op insurance on an apartment is about 180-400 a year depending on how much valuable property you have in an apartment. I have mine through AllState. If you need a contact person, I can give you the phone number of mine.
Not sure about insurance during the reno itself but your contractor should be insured for plenty to cover anything that might potentially happen. Most co-op require the contractors to have at least a million dollar coverage.
