This week Park Heights Stationers on Park Place at Flatbush closed. It wasn’t the perfect copy shop but it was my copy shop and I used it weekly during the school year. DARN! Over the last year many of the places I go to get supplies for work/life have closed. Yes, other places exist but they are a hike or a drive or a bus ride. Its not so much the distance its the TIME!
In the North Slope/Prospect Height area I’m missing the copy shop, the health food store, Dunkin’ Donuts (for the ice cream cakes), and the art supply story on 5th. I’m also missing the Union Street bus to Carroll Garden. I can deal but it means creating new routes and routines.

  1. The copy shop did close. I thought the onwer of the place also owned the building. Does anyone know?

I was never crazy about that place but I hope the shop that replaces it isn’t another cell phone store

  2. I’ve been working nearby and went there for pencil leads. I only glanced at the sign, but I thought it said they were temporarily closed.
