Terrible Rain Drainage System on Roof
Our rain drainage system is completely messed up on 3 fam house. Rain is waterfall in this house. Who can fix this? Roofer? Please share someone to fix it and the approximate cost… Thank you.

Depending on how your drainage is set up, you’d either talk with your plumber or a roofer. But first check the gutters and leaders for blockage. You can check them yourself by running water through a hose and watching whether gutters drain freely. Blockage is a common problem that needs annual maintenance at minimum. Be careful about some of the self-promoting “contractors” and “masters” that reply to posts. If looking for a roofer, check previous Forum threads for recommendations.
thank you for info. before cleaning, the setting of drainage is not functioning. what if your drainage is broken, who would you call? Roofer is the specialist? or Is there any rain drainage specialist?
Did you clean out the gutters on the roof? You’re supposed to clean the gutters 2 or 3 times a year. Leaves and seeds get in there and turn to gunk, block the drainage and water pools on the roof and pours down the sides of the exterior walls of the house. If the gutters haven’t been cleaned in a long time then you may have to powerwash them. On our own we’ll pour gallons of vinegar and baking soda down them which clears the gunk but is natural and not harmful to the groundwater and sewers.
