Shared Meter Fees

Had a shared meter problem with tenant fixed within the time guidelines 12/09 I thought the meters were appropriately separated during a recent renovation Electrician faxed paid service bill to Con Ed the next day. I followed up with attempted phone calls and letters and documentation.Now I am receiving a bill for $268.00 for one year of shared meter usage and $889.00 for one time billing assessment.Anyone have a similar experience?
