Bad Iron Worker
I found Ricardo on this site, and he screwed up a job badly and then refused to take responsibility for it. Just want to put that out there, ss most of you seem to like this guy.

I also had a bad experience with Ricardo, who said he would show up
twice and never did.
When he did finally show up-a week later- he measured
gave me a price, told me he would return the next day to
pick up the piece.
Never returned to pick up the piece and never returned my phone calls.
Any other recommendations out there?
Why’d you pay him before he did it right?
His quote certainly wasn’t low — he made almost $2,000 in less than a day. He refused to acknowledge he made a mistake. Perhaps a macho thing. He installed over the property line. No excuse.
Why wouldn’t he try to make it right? Was it a misunderstanding or communication issue and he originally quoted too low?
Just asking because i was going to use him very soon again.
What happened, invisible, is that he put something on the wrong way — it’s obviously wrong, and renders the job off-code — and then declined to redo it the right way.
Hi, Stoners: I’ve had issues with this particular iron worker as well. Welds came apart, needing multiple repair.
