I need someone that can (it’s pitched improperly right now)level out the yard a little bit, put in these paving stones, frame around them and then pour cement, leaving some room at edges for drainage. I’ve gotten what seems to me,some pretty high estimates for this work. It also seems like all of the contractors I’ve dealt with are either reluctant or consciously delaying an on the spot estimate or ‘ball park’ figure. Does anyone have someone that can do this work at reasonable prices and/or has access to inexpensive laborers? At this point I’m open to any options. Thanks.

  1. i’ve had z. abeddin do outside masonry work…i think they could do something like this fairly cheaply. if you know what you want, and are watching what they do (aesthetic decisions aren’t their strongpoint) the work is good, and abeddin is very nice and willing to do what you want.

  2. I did exactly what you are talking about 2 years ago with Blue Stone Pavers, drainage, a dry well, and border for around $10K.

Eddie Cintron was the contractor and his crew did excellent work even with major site access issues.

How much are you getting quoted? I went through the same things with guys wanting $20-$25K or not even wanting to touch the job – not worth their time, etc. until I found Eddie.
