I have used the Pest Offense for over 2 years with great results. It uses no chemicals or pesticides…safe around my son and my 2 cats. I found it when researching chemical free alternatives because my son has asthma. beware of the look a likes….they did not work for me nor could i get my money back. Turns out the P.O. is the only one that did a 5 year study to prove it worked and that has no FTC actions
Who, the tenants or the pests?
Send them a 3 day notice.
I recommend immediate, draconian action.
1. Mice. Find an exterminator who will guarantee results for one year. Working with the exterminator, seal up every hole in the building with steel wool. The exterminator will lay down poison, mice will run out of building seeking water, die, and not come back.
Sweep up all the feces and clean with one part bleach to three parts water plus a squirt of dish soap solution to get rid of the hideous disgusting horrible smell. Wash all the baseboards and the bases of your furniture also.
2. Roaches: You can have a guy in to spray monthly, but it doesn’t do a thing. Your best bet is to seal all holes, throughly wash the drawers and cupboards, throw out all food including such things as tea (in case it all has roach eggs), store all future food in air-tight containers, and paint around the edges of all cupboards and appliances with a paste made of water and boric acid. They will take it back to their nests and die. You may want to re-apply monthly. Of course, don’t do this if you have pets or small children. You could then have a guy in monthly to spray the basement and behind the stoves and such in addition just in case. If the tenants have things like cat food out, it could be hopeless.
Bob’s Pest Control. Nice guy, lives in the slope.
I only do it when tenants see something & have had good service from Empire Pest Control – 718 237 0989
Get a cat, the unwanted guests will move out. My guy caught one once and had no idea what to do with it. I picked him up, opened the door, held him out, he opened his mouth and off the mouse ran. My wife’s cat would snap their neck in a flash and leave it by the door.
