Does anyone know where to find relatively inexpensive but decent quality bathroom vanities and medicine cabinets?

Thanks in advance.

  2. Now that is the question of the century. Prices for solid wood are insane. Yellowhook, thanks for the idea. I have also seen a few items that look plausible on eBay and Etsy. Still not exactly a song, though. $150 and up.

I’m also realizing I don’t think I can just add a built-in. I am pretty sure there’s a wall stud right in the way of where it would go.

  3. Check out E-Wood Flooring and Cabinets at 4902 2nd Avenue Brooklyn NY. Custom made all solid wood. You pick the wood and the look, color, and effect you like — maple, oak, cherry, bamboo, whatever. Prices are reasonable and comparable to home depot and stores selling decent wood cabinetries. But quality is better and you get the look you want.

  4. I think those two may be the same thing. I bought vanity+mirror set off the qualitybath.com website and the delivery came by a truck with home-and-stone logo. Anyway, I am happy with the quality, but Home Depot cheap it’s not.

  5. I used an Empire Vanity in one of the guest baths of my weekend house. In terms of off the rack vanities, it is pretty well made. Relatively inexpensive is a relative term, but the lowest prices I found were at qualitybath.com and homeandstone.com
