Is it safe to pour hot water slowly from the top and let the dirt and dust run underneath and wipe it up? I’m afraid if I use a long brush/duster right off the dust released will be awful.
Thanks.
After you’ve vacuumed, etc. You might want to use a bottle brush and water, etc. But probably not worth it if you are going to put the cover back on.
If you had a shop vac, it would clean this up in about five minutes. They are amazing.
Swiffer 360 dusters are the best thing ever. Once they grab hold of the dust, it doesn’t let it go. But yes, use the vacuum first.
You can also use a Swiffer duster to reach areas where the crevice tool won’t go.
thank you for the suggestion – such a simple one!
Start by vacuuming with the “crevice tool” attachment (the flatish tube). Hopefully you’ve got a good filter in your vac. You should be able to suck most of the thick dust right off without spreading it around.
