Bricklayer Recommendation

A couple of weeks ago I posted on brownstoner’s forum looking for a brick person to do our patio. Rosee recommended an English bricklayer named John (1-347-527-3110) and we took her advice. I think a recommendation on brownstoner is kinda a crap shoot but we were really lucky, we could not be more pleased. The work required that John break up, then take the old concrete patio out through the house and then the new brick in through the house, he was super careful to keep debris away from our furniture and floors. John was extremely courteous, he showed up every day on time and came in at the exact price that he quoted us. Most importantly, he is clearly a skilled bricklayer. The patio looks fantastic and is built well. So, I don’t know if this is kosher or not to do on brownstoner’s forum, but thanks Rosee!
