Flooring Advice
i am purchasing a coop in brooklyn. the picture shows an area of the floor where a wall once stood. the tips of the boards (about 6-10) are bending upwards. i was told that there are screws whose heads pop off which can remedy this. any other suggestions? something i can expect to fix myself?…

It’s hard to say from the small thumbnails I saw; but…
I don’t know about headless screws/whatever; but do you really want to put holes in your floors when that may not even be the remedy for your problem? It looks like these floors are quite thin, and may have been glued down. Was there water damage which caused the floors to curl?
Go to Lumber Liquidators, bring pix, and ask them. They will know– and best of all, depending on which location you choose, there may be a Lowes directly across the street!
Good luck!
