Curb Cut: Parking Question
My property is 25 ft wide and from my fence to house has more than enough space to park a small car and landscape. According to the deed my fence is outside my property line but is in line with the others on the block. Any way to get a variance for permit?

You need a space of minimum 18 by 8 1/2 feet on your own property and in certain zoning districts you will need to park in the rear yard ar in the building.
Whatever is on the city’s propoerty os not counted.
DOB in Brooklyn used to give ok’s for up to 17.5′ long but am not sure if they still give it and am assuming that if yes that it varies by boro.
All parking needs to be behind the setback not just the propery line. How far is your house from the propery line?
