I have a bad plumbing problem in a private house out in Brooklyn. I want someone who “knows his stuff”! Of course, I would prefer not to pay an arm and a leg as well. Is Roto Rooter the best quality/value or who?

Comments

  1. John Catania at 718-541-4213. Licensed, insured, reasonable and really knows his stuff. Tell him Prynn sent you. If it’s a seriously clogged sewer (based on your roto-rooter idea) write back

  2. We also have used Stanley Lewis for years and like him very much.

I finally converted my mom who’d been paying through the nose with Vigilantes forever.

    Stanley Lewis: (718) 774-8757 or (718) 778-8288

  3. Even if you do need your sewer cleaned, do not use Roto Rooter–they’re a total ripoff.

Gateway and John Hlad are regularly recommended here; both are licensed master plumbers. Cheaper folks may not be licensed.

  4. Rotorooter is a sewer cleaning service and not a plumber. The quality of the worker may vary greatly. It it a plumbing or a sewer problem you are having?

  5. Try Tommy (917- 907-2315), I’m forgetting the name of his plumbing company but he is licensed. His estimates were spot on…he installed my water meter and has fixed some leaks for my brownstone in Windsor Terrace. I highly recommended him, tell him Allan – friend of Jennifer Flores sent you.
