Ok, so now I am considering a small play area with artificial turf until the kids get a little older. Does anyone have a recommendation for a supplier? I’ve seen some really bad ones and some really good ones (like behind the Old Stone House in Park Slope)
Any leads will be appreciated.
Thanks

  1. I thought I’d provide a little info here. I work in the corp office for ForeverLawn a synthetic grass company. We would love to have the opportunity to provide you with some options. Our nearest dealer to you is Jasson Rusak of ForeverLawn Jersey at the Shore. He can be reached at 732-709-3108.

Artificial turf is makes the area functional even after rain. It will not become muddy or leave stains on your kids’ clothes. Maintenance is minimal. There’s a lot of misinformation out there regarding the safety of synthetic grass. Your kids will be fine playing on it, especially the newer generation of products. 2. I suppose artificial turf is at least better than real grass, which is terminally wasteful of resources.

Astro-turf is also a known carcinogen, so make sure the tykes don’t chew on it.
