South Slope Farmers Market?
There used to be a small Farmer’s Market in the playground on 6th ave between 18th and 19th Street. Does anyone know anything about this? Is this going to come back?

Oh wow! Thanks for the info! We will totally sign up for this!
Again, Brownstoners rock.
SF, how do you sign on? What do you get? Seemed like a lotta lettuce when I walked by.
Yes, robotpony is right. A CSA, not a farm market. We did it last year and are doing it again this year. Great stuff. You can also buy into a half share and pick up every week.
Not familiar with the location you mentioned, but lots of Greenmarket info here, including maps, schedules, etc.: http://bit.ly/bQdBHf
I think what you’re thinking of is the Greenwood Heights CSA (http://www.greenwoodheightscsa.com/) which does its pickups in that park on the weekends. It’s not a farmer’s market in that the produce isn’t for sale on the weekends, but members of the CSA who have bought-in for the whole season come in and pick up their weekly produce each weekend.
I was a member last year and thought it was great.
