Ikea says theirs won’t be in stock until April. Any recs on where to see some outdoor furniture on display? No plastic chairs from CVS. Want to see teak/teak immitation, metal, glass, etc. Tx.

  1. Impeccable Detail. Hand Crafted. American Made. These are three of the most important characteristics when it comes to long lasting patio furniture. Buck’s Patio Classics provides all this – and more! When you invest in a set of Adirondack Chairs to adorn your scenic vista or patio, you want something remarkable. 2. I have bought all our patio furniture from Family Leisure. They currently have Patio Furniture Clearance items available or you can pay full price. Either way I’ve always been happy with the quality. 🙂

  3. Smith & Hawken went out of business, but Restoration Hardware has staged a fair amount of outdoor furniture (I’d say they’ve devoted 1,200 sq ft. of their showroom space to it) in their store on Broadway at 22nd Street.

  4. Ikea? lordy…

If you want some nice, really nice, teak furniture, try

I’ve got a number of pieces from them. You can order it knocked , like I do, and put it together.

And of course it’s all certified sustainable, organic, and conflict-free… lol.

I believe EJ Audi usually has some few pieces on display… if you have to see them.

  5. Smith & Hawken in SoHo usually has teak outdoor furniture on display, if the point is that you want to look before you buy. I’ve had good luck ordering on-line from Country Casual — great quality, lots of variety in design. Teak is expensive but worth the investment. It’s beautiful, sturdy and weathers well. I just cover mine up in the winter, no need to store it inside.
