It turns out, the stripper does work, but the pain still needs to be physically scraped off the grout.
Any ideas as to what would work well? I’m tempted to try the edge of one of those wire-y non-metalic pads that are attached to a drill: seems rigid enough to scrape, but flexible enough to keep in contact with the paint on the grout; and not scratch the ceramic tile.
But perhaps someone has a better idea?
A wire brush should work on the grout. Also a piece of steel wool wrapped around a large flat head screwdriver. And plan steelwool or a scrubby pad for tile surfaces
Thanks for the suggestions, but we’re talking about 1/8″ grout lines. But I will talk a ride down there on my bike 😉
You could find at HD or Lowe’s a hand tool specially designed for that purpose. It has a handle like a screw driver and a toothed blade. This $7 tool might help.
I’d start with a firm toothbrush, if you need harder, they make tooth-brush like brushes with brass bristles.
