My dryer exhaust is connected to my dryer with duct tape, but it consistently falls off b/c off the heat & jiggling. This means I regularly have to hang upside down on top of the stacked unit & put the thing back together. Is there such a thing as a plastic or metal coupler that could permanently connect the two? What is it called? Where can I buy it? Thanks!

  1. There are special clamps that are made for what you need. You can go into just about any hardware store and ask for a dryer clamp and they’ll probably carry it. If not, you can use a hose clamp. Dryer clamps are just metal loops with the end wires bent up at angles so you can pinch them together with your fingers, which opens up the size of the loop. Hose clamps usually get tightened with a screwdriver, or nutdriver. Dryer clamps are cheaper cost wise, usually under two dollars, 4″ hose clamps, which would be the size for most dryers should be under $5.
