Cast Concrete Steps- Source
Have an older stoop with brick sides and cast concrete steps. Someday, I’ll rip the stoop off and put a nice brownstone one in it’s place. Have an older stoop with brick sides and cast concrete steps. Someday, I’ll rip the stoop off and put a nice brownstone one in it’s place. This Spring though, I need to replace two of the treads which were badly patched by last owner, and which spalled and broke in the winter.
Anyone on Brownstoner know of a source to find new cast concrete treads?
may go that route master builder- it’s just that these look like they were all purchased off a shelf somewhere (but probably in the 50s). Was wondering I could still find them, which would make things very easy.
Why not have them cast in place?
